In the synthetic ammonia system, a large number of methane and hydrogen are contained in the gas and ammonia tank of the ammonia storage tank. If it is directly sent into the waste boiler, the heat energy of the component is only used and the economy is poor. If the methane in the tail gas is separated and sold as LNG, and the hydrogen is separated and returned to the ammonia synthesis system, the added value of the product is greatly increased. 

After recovering hydrogen from the membrane hydrogen extraction unit, the methanol gas also contains some hydrogen and a large amount of methane. Through the cryogenic distillation separation technology, the methane in the methanol release gas is separated out and sold in the form of LNG. The remaining gas enters the pressure swing adsorption device and further extracts the CO and H2. 
After extensive investigation and technical research, our company has designed and developed the comprehensive utilization technology of the tail gas of the ammonia system. The main principle is to separate the high boiling point CH4 in the gas, according to the difference of the boiling points of each component in the synthetic air and the principle of the deep cold distillation separation. When preparing LNG, nitrogen and hydrogen with less than 3% inert  gas content can be sent directly to the compression section of the ammonia synthesis system.
